In the Know // February Edit

Some how the month of January crept along and felt like 90 days, meanwhile February felt like I blinked and it was the end of the month. But it was a jam packed month of travel, fun events and the glimpses of warm weather have me so excited for spring! Here’s a few things I loved this month.

FEBRUARY MONTHLY FAVORITES

In the Know // February Edit

WHAT I’M LOVING:

This month my husband and I went on our first solo vacation in three years and let me tell you, if you can make it work, do it! Four days in Cancun was the perfect escape from St. Louis winter.

  • We stayed at Moon Palace in Cancun and had the best time! I am always weary of all-inclusive resorts but the food was great and the property was very nice.

  • New Lumineers album dropped and it’s on repeat for me.

  • Re-discovered West County Mall and found it’s a perfect place to spend a day indoors with kids. They have a free play area plus the Lego store and a train that goes around the mall.

WHAT I’M READING:

  • A beach vacation meant I finished a book in one day! If you are looking for a quick and super sweet romance, read Expiration Dates.

  • I requested First Time Caller on my Libby app but I’m number 252 in line….maybe next month?

FAVORITE SIPS AND BITES:

You know you can always count on me to share the best spots to eat and drink in St. Louis and this month was no different. We had a LOT of pizza this past month which I normally don’t do. But lots of new spots opened this past month for you to add to your list!

  • Incredible chicken pot pie at Russell’s in South City.

  • I forgot how good the pizza at Pastaria is! Plus it’s a really good deal if you go during happy hour. I shared a post about it on IG.

  • Nixta is now back open in the Delmar Marker’s District and it felt like being trasnported to somewhere warm and tropical.

Dinner at Pastaria in St. Louis is the perfect family friendly restaurant.

Dinner at Pastaria in Clayton is the perfect family friendly spot. The pizza is amazing.

WHAT I BOUGHT:

  • We went to Mexico this month for a little getaway and I snagged a few swim suits that I loved!

  • On days off from TV I try to limit the make-up I wear and I’m obsessed with the new Milk Hydro Grip Skin Tint. It’s more coverage than a regular skin tint but not as heavy as a full foundation.

  • You will never catch me spending more than $20 on a pair of sunglasses because I lose or break them so easily. Snagged a super cute pair at Target this month!
